Earlier this year I featured some stylish prints and frames from Scandinavian poster supplier, Desenio, when I created a gallery wall in my front room:
I was really pleased with the quality of the wall art and the finished look, so have been keen to partner with Desenio again ever since. Luckily, the opportunity arose recently when I was asked to help with an interior design project.
A beauty business owner needed to make the waiting area of her salon a bit more welcoming to clients. It was nicely painted with a neutral wall colour and a wood effect floor, but apart from a couple of Scandi style chairs and a grey side table, the space was a blank canvas. The bare walls were asking for some wall art, so naturally Desenio, with its great range of fashion and beauty inspired posters and prints, was the ideal partner for this project.
With so many inspirational art images to choose from, it wasn’t easy but we decided on a selection of posters and frames. All the fashion posters from Desenio come on un-coated paper which gives a really exclusive looking matte finish, whilst the slim frames are elegant and simple.
The quirky Kate Moss print and classic Coco Chanel quote really caught our eye:
They seemed the ideal pair to display above the waiting area chairs. We chose copper frames rather than black or white, and they are lovely and soft in tone, more like rose gold. I can’t wait to show you in the final reveal soon!
