When I recently learned that one of my furniture makeovers had been featured on the dotcomgiftshop blog, as part of their ‘Gorgeous Upcycled Furniture Post’ I was totally flattered and amazed. (You can see it here.)
As if that wasn’t exciting enough, they then asked me if I’d like to review one of their products!
The dotcomgiftshop website is an online shopping delight for someone like me – gorgeous home decoration, gifts, storage, kitchen and other home-wares galore in the most appealing ranges but at reasonable prices – what’s not to love?
Faced with a choice of many goodies, I asked the team to let me review a product that would fit the theme of my blog, so anything storage/organising-wise would be perfect.
I was absolutely delighted then to receive one of the things that had caught my eye whilst browsing online – this rustic red and white wooden ‘Post’ box, which really is a box-ticker for me because, not only is it great looking, it is practical too.
It arrived promptly and extremely well packaged, so there was no risk of any damage to the wooden box. It has a hinged lid and measures 23cm L x 10cm W x 30cm H so is roomy enough to hold brochures as well as letters.
Here it is in our hallway, what a difference it has already made to be able to scoop up all those letters, flyers, menus and taxi cards that we regularly receive through our door and corral them all in one neat little place, that I can sort through at a more convenient time.
Sooo much better. I am smitten with this box. Why? Because it is sturdy enough to be used free standing, but also has the option of wall-mounting (indoor use only). It has that aged, nostalgic feel that I love so much. It tidies away clutter.
If you can’t resist it either, it is available for £18.95 here in the dotcomgiftshop online store.
Here are some other brilliant storage items I was taken with while browsing the shop…
You can view even more fabulous dotcomgiftshop goodies here. Why not follow them on Twitter, give them a Facebook like and they are also on Pinterest, too, if you are a keen pinner like me.
I had so much fun reviewing this item (my first one ever!) so thank you dotcomgiftshop for featuring my blog and letting me give my opinion about one of your adorable items.
