So far, Rose & Grey has been a cool online-only destination for those seeking quirky furniture and homeware items, but that is all about to change with the launch of the brand new showroom and store in the south Manchester town of Altrincham.
If you love anything modern-vintage, industrial, Scandinavian and the latest trends in home interiors, it sounds like you have the same great taste as Rose & Grey, so I know you’re going to get along famously! You really must pop along for a browse if you are in the area. For those further afield, don’t worry you can still seek inspiration and enjoy an online mooch, with any items you order shipped effortlessly to your door.
I’ve worked with Rose & Grey for a number of years, so know the style and products well. Having visited the gorgeous new showroom yesterday for a pre-opening peek on press day, I have to say they have totally nailed it – the store really is the website brought to life. The extra appeal of course is that you can now sit on the chairs and sofas, feel the fabrics and understand the scale of things, which is sometimes a little hard to do purely with images on a website, certainly where furniture is concerned, even when you have the dimensions in front of you.
It’s a very inspirational and welcoming space – not too large, not to small, with zones that encompass the most desirable seating and storage furniture, the latest lighting trends, rugs and decorative accessories that are guaranteed to give your home those all important finishing touches.
There’s a range of fabulous Abigail Ahern faux plants and flowers as well as P.F. Candle Co handmade scented soy candles. In the more pared back scandi-style section you’ll find lovely kitchenware and accessories that tap into the botanical trend.
The perfect place to find inspiration and a range of large or small items for your home, this is going to be a very popular shopping destination for home lovers, I’ve no doubt at all – and existing fans of Rose & Grey will love how it complements the website so perfectly.
Well done, Rose & Grey! It’s a triumph and I can’t wait to come back again soon.
The store opens its doors tomorrow (Saturday) – address details here.
