Cosy Down for Autumn with BoConcept Manchester

With a new season underway, I was keen to pop along to BoConcept Manchester recently, to check out their brand new arrivals for autumn.

There’s a large, impressive furniture showroom in the Ancoats area of the city that’s lovely to have a browse around. It has just been re-decorated with fabulous autumnal wall colours and styled up to give lots of inspiration to help you furnish your own home.  I ended up spending a couple of hours perusing and swooning over the four new trends and their delicious colour palettes that have just been released.

The collections are called Mood Blue, Home Grown (featuring gorgeous greens), Solid Earth (rich reds and earthy tones) and Icon Brown.  They are all perfect for capturing autumnal feels and as you wander around the room sets you can’t help wanting to cosy up on the inviting sofas and armchairs – and visualise them in your own home!

If you asked me for my very favourite pieces, it would be a hard task, but I think one of them would be this stunning dining set because it’s something you’d only have to purchase once and then love forever.  The beautiful NEW ‘Madrid’ circular table has a cone shaped, handmade base crafted from the smoothest of concrete (I know because I stroked it!) while the organic form of those fabulous ‘Ottowa’ chairs, featuring petal shaped seats and twig-like legs are just exquisitely beautiful.

Also, who could possibly resist the stunner that is the Imola armchair, on display in the showroom looking resplendent in the most amazing shade of orange velvet. Just check out those curves! So comfy and one of those timeless designs that BoConcept is very accomplished at creating; crafting quality pieces that you’ll love and treasure for years to come.

For lovers of Danish design you’re utterly spoiled for choice at the showroom in Manchester. Another aspect to love is the fact that all the seating is customisable – colour and fabric wise you can select from a wide choice. Whether you like things in bold and beautiful hues or soft, subtle tones. Everything can be upholstered to your liking; this sleek ‘Osaka’ sofa for example which is on display in the showroom features ‘Turquoise Napoli’ fabric and aluminium legs; but if you were looking for a forest green velvet sofa with brass legs this season, no problem – the Osaka can be produced accordingly.

I love the level of versatility BoConcept Manchester can offer you and your home – and with a free interior design service, too, you can’t go wrong.
